{"id":407,"date":"2018-01-16T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2018-01-16T04:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/baronedefensefirm.lawblogger.net\/blog\/barone-becomes-board-certified-by-american-board-examiners\/"},"modified":"2025-01-08T14:38:58","modified_gmt":"2025-01-08T18:38:58","slug":"barone-becomes-board-certified-by-american-board-examiners","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.baronedefensefirm.com\/blog\/barone-becomes-board-certified-by-american-board-examiners\/","title":{"rendered":"Barone Becomes Only Lawyer in Michigan Certified by the American Board of Examiners"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On January 15, 2018, Patrick Barone became the only Michigan lawyer who is Board Certified in psychodrama, sociometry and group psychotherapy.\u00a0 This certification, provided by the American Board of Examiners, is the culmination of training that he began in 2010.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Barone first experienced psychodrama in 2007 at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.triallawyerscollege.org\/\">Gerry Spence Trial Lawyer\u2019s College<\/a> (TLC).\u00a0 Gerry Spence started the TLC in 1994, and since this time the theory and practices of psychodrama have formed the foundation of what is called the \u201cTLC\u201d method.\u00a0 Mr. Spence is considered by many to be the greatest living trial lawyer.\u00a0 When Geoffrey Fieger needed representation, he turned to Gerry Spence, who successfully defending him 2008.\u00a0 For more information about this trial see the ABA post entitled Spence&#8217;s No-Loss Record Stands with Fieger Acquittal.\u00a0 Since 1994 the staff and students at the TLC have experimented with expanding and improving the TLC method.<\/p>\n<p>While Mr. Barone was training in psychodrama and sociometry it became evident that the methods, tools, interventions, theory, and practice of psychodrama were all cross-purposeful.\u00a0 They have as much application in, for example, the boardroom as they have in the courtroom, and Mr. Barone has used and continues to use them in both.<\/p>\n<div class=\"read_more_link\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.baronedefensefirm.com\/blog\/barone-becomes-board-certified-by-american-board-examiners\/\"  title=\"Continue Reading Barone Becomes Only Lawyer in Michigan Certified by the American Board of Examiners\" class=\"more-link\">Continue Reading \u203a<\/a><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On January 15, 2018, Patrick Barone became the only Michigan lawyer who is Board Certified in psychodrama, sociometry and group psychotherapy.\u00a0 This certification, provided by the American Board of Examiners, is the culmination of training that he began in 2010.
